§ 7-3. Same—Election results.

The candidate receiving the highest number of votes in an election shall be declared the winner. Where more than one council seat is to be filled in an election, the candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall be declared the winners, the winning candidates to be the same in number as the number of council seats up for election.
